In this class we use props backmitra, blocks, bolsters, and blankets and breathing exercises to mindfully bring your body to healthy movement and posture. The gravity and weight of your body is replaced by the lightness of the posture; as you breath, relax and move deeper into the asana and embrace a balanced state of stillness and movement.

Yin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga where asanas are held for extended periods of time, typically three to five minutes per pose. Yin yoga applies moderate stress to the connective tissues, the tendons, fascia, and ligaments with the aim of increasing circulation to the joints and improving flexibility.
Vinyasa (“flowing with breath”) is a dynamic style of Hatha yoga which joins physical postures, with inhales and exhales, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice.
Each Vinyasa Flow class targets physical strength and flexibility throughout the entire body.
Mysore style is a self paced practice where you work in relationship with your teacher. The student will learn the system at his or her own pace with guidance and support.
All students practice together creating a dynamic and harmonious classroom community, allowing the teacher to support and assist each student when and where they need it.
Medicinal yoga, using techniques to improve your life despite any illness or disability. This practice teaches the path to body awareness, pain reduction and increased ability to deal with the symptoms that affect the body, mind and soul.

This class seeks the integration of softness and strength (yin yang), within a fluid and dynamic practice. That will lead you to a stage of meditation in movement. It combines different elements and styles to create a session adequate to your needs. Trough postures and breathing, this practice takes you deep into a stage of meditation that helps healing and relaxation, while at the same time you strengthen your body and increase your resistance.
This practice is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. We use props to support the postures, while gently stretching and strengthening the body follow by a vinyasa flow - a moving meditation to access the mind-body-spirit connection and to energize the body.
In this class, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. Emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals.
